Pet Vaccination Clinic

I've been taking my pets here since 2016. It's always been fairly affordable and have had some good veterinarians and techs. It's nice to see the owner, Dr. BJ, around still, him and his wife have taken care of my pets before as well. I brought my cats in today for flea consult, shots, and general concerns I have regarding my senior cat. While my senior cat kinda lost his mind, the veterinarian (Dr. Joe) and tech handled it well and did not comment negatively about his behavior, which I felt really bad about because he hasn't been aggressive like that at the vet in several years. Dr. Joe reassured me and listened to my concerns. He recommended appropriate treatment and lab work as well as follow up steps. He was an empathetic veterinarian and took the time to explain my cat's lab work and was honest in his recommendation for how much to feed my cat to increase his weight. My other cat was fine, just needed to update her shots. But I really appreciated the veterinarian's bedside manner, and his tech that was assisting him was equally amazing and empathetic. Dr. Joe has seen my cats for over a year now and has been the best veterinarian I've allowed to care for my pets. Bedside manner is 5 star; I previously docked it to 3 due to front of house issues, but staff finally reached out to me after I posted the same grievances to multiple sites. I appreciate how management handled it (Kristina, she is the owners' daughter); however, it kind of sucks to have been told that when desk staff were interviewed about an interaction, that they completely twisted the narrative and made it out that I was difficult and wanted a scheduling accomodation they couldn't provide, not that they refused my in-person request to schedule a routine vaccine appointment in advance despite repeatedly explaining that response from them via electronic methods was hit or miss and they never call back and mumbling some excuse about they couldn't do that because the schedule isn't out so I said that didn't make any sense at all for a high demand veterinary clinic with appointments. They just kept telling me to call or text so I left. That is what actually happened. I was told by management that they were working on improving front of house training and operations and that I shouldn't have been denied advanced scheduling while I was physically there requesting an appointment from someone sitting at a computer and there was maybe 1 or 2 other clients at the time, but none of them checking out. I have been back since and do believe it has gotten better and was not refused the request to schedule my kitten's spay surgery in person last time. If I didn't really like Dr. Joe I might've gone elsewhere after all that drama. But he's really one of the best veterinarians that have ever taken care of my cats.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I am an independent senior rescuer on the Southside, and I was recently struggling to find a surgery appointment for a litter of five stormwater rescue kittens. I spoke on the phone with a young lady named Ashe, and she was absolutely delightful. She worked incredibly hard to get all of my information processed and went completely above and beyond to find an opening for my kittens on October 27. Ashe was so respectful, sweet, and genuinely kind throughout the entire call. It is rare to find someone with such a patient, compassionate heart in customer service. Thank you, Ashe, for your hard work and for treating me and these rescue babies with such deep respect!

Thank you so much for taking care of my dog. I hadnt really been to a vet with him and we needed to get him seen quickly. Thank you for accommodating us. Also the 2 gentleman that saw duke were awesome, gentle, personable and made me and my dog feel comfortable. Also was dreading a huge bill as i received an exam, rabies shot, ear drops, prednizone and flea meds. I was so relieved to find out it was half the price i expected to pay. Thank you so much again. Duke is feeling so much better.
